Putting into use shooting range in U Minh Thuong district

Kien Giang Provincial Military Command put into use the shooting range project in U Minh Thuong district.

On February 26, the Military Command of Kien Giang province, together with construction, supervision, design consulting units, and the Military Command of U Minh Thuong district, organized the acceptance of the completion, handover, and putting into use the shooting range project, called the U Minh Thuong District Military Command shooting range.

The project is built in Thanh Yen commune, U Minh Thuong district with a total investment of 12 billion VND. The project includes the following items: 15m high concrete bulletproof block; canvas rubber, armrests on both sides; bulletproof bunker; embankment, retaining wall on both sides; local leveling, electrical system, transformer station, water supply and drainage system, etc.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh An - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Kien Giang Provincial Military Command requested the Military Command of U Minh Thuong district to regularly inspect and periodically preserve, maintain, prevent degradation caused by natural and human impacts, and use the works to ensure high efficiency.
