The People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City has just announced the putting into operation and use of the East-West road project in Buon Ma Thuot City.

Accordingly, the project will be handed over and put into use from October 30, 2023. The People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City requested the City Police to develop a plan and organize forces to regularly patrol and control, instruct people participating in traffic to strictly comply with lane division instructions and traffic signs; promptly detect and strictly handle cases of intentional violations of traffic and security and order along the entire route.

The People's Committees of wards and communes are requested to widely inform on local media so that people know about the handover time of the East-West road project; at the same time, strengthen the propaganda of the Road Traffic Law to raise people's awareness when participating in traffic.

For the wards: Tan Thanh, Tu An, Tan Lap and Hoa Thang commune - where the route passes through, regularly propagate to local households to know and comply with regulations on land management, construction order, urban order to ensure the safety of technical infrastructure of the project and ensure traffic safety during exploitation and use.

It is known that the East-West Road Project of the city was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for investment in Decision No. 3188/QD-UBND dated December 30, 2014; approved the adjustment of the project implementation time in Decision No. 200/QD-UBND dated February 9, 2023, the project implementation time is until the end of 2023.

The project started construction at the end of September 2015, with a length of 6.9 km, starting at the Le Duan - Dinh Tien Hoang roundabout, ending at the intersection between National Highway 27 and Dam San Street to Buon Ma Thuot Airport. The project has a total investment after adjustment of nearly 1,239 billion VND, with the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City as the investor.

This is one of the key projects of the province and the city, which has practical significance in completing the urban transport network system of Buon Ma Thuot City. Up to now, the project has been completed and carried out the acceptance procedures, handover and put into use according to regulations.
