However, in reality, management shows that there are still some unregistered and uninspected vehicles, the drivers do not have professional certificates, and the awareness of complying with traffic safety regulations of a number of participants in waterway traffic is limited. This poses a potential risk of insecurity due to natural disasters and maritime accidents. Equipping the Waterway Traffic Police with large-capacity aluminum alloy canoes not only increases mobility, but also helps expand the scope of control, timely access to the scene, ensuring more effective protection of maritime border security, anti-smuggling, sovereignty protection, as well as supporting people in distress at sea.

According to the design, the canoe's hull is made of aluminum alloy with a length of 11.8m, a width of more than 3m, and a height of 1.42m. In addition, the canoe is equipped with a Yamaha gasoline engine power system consisting of two engines with a total capacity of 400HP, a maximum speed of 25 nautical miles/hour . This is a modern vehicle, with a sturdy aluminum alloy hull structure , resistant to harsh weather conditions and can operate flexibly in coastal waters. The canoe is capable of moving quickly, promptly approaching locations at sea when detecting suspicious signs or needing rescue support.
