Dr. Le Trung Dao, Vice Principal of the University of Finance and Marketing, said that the main concern of the current US administration is the large imbalance in the trade balance between the US and other countries. The imposition of a 46% tax on Vietnam will certainly create challenges and reduce its competitive advantage compared to other countries. In 2025, the school plans to enroll students in both international economics and international business majors with 4 diverse training programs: Standard program, partial English program, full English program and international joint program.

Students are also concerned about choosing two programs at the same time: Law and English. Master Vu Dinh Le, Deputy Head of the Admissions Consulting Department - Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, explained: "Candidates can only be admitted to one major, so it is best to choose the major they like, then study the second program with the condition that after the first year of study, depending on their learning ability, students can transfer to another major.
