The audience felt both moved and dramatic while watching the skit performance by the team from Battalion 682 at the 2023 "Skilled Mass Mobilization" competition organized by Brigade 971, Transport Department, General Department of Logistics.
This is a real-life situation during the historic floods in Central Vietnam in 2020, when the battalion participated in transporting relief supplies to help the people. The members of the team performing the skit all "got into character, knew their lines," and acted very naturally.
Not only the skit from Battalion 682, but all the teams' skits impressed the judges and the audience. Notable examples include the skit "The Story of Mr. Ngat's Family" by Battalion 102, depicting a situation where people are encouraged to donate land for road construction; the skit "Trust" by Battalion 52, which focuses on encouraging people to comply with traffic safety regulations and refrain from drinking alcohol while driving; and Battalion 679's skit advocating for compliance with the Road Traffic Law...

Observing the competition, we noticed that the contestants were enthusiastic and responsible; the teams' performances adhered closely to the regulations and rules, ensuring quality. To achieve these results, starting in late February 2023, Brigade 971 implemented a plan to organize the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" competition in 2023 and formed five teams: the Headquarters and Repair Workshop, Battalion 682, Battalion 102, Battalion 52, and Battalion 679. The teams seriously prepared from the scriptwriting stage, selecting personnel to form the team, to organizing training sessions for the competition.
Through theatrical performances, poetry, folk songs, plays, etc., the teams presented unique and engaging performances, vividly reflecting the real-life situations that officers and soldiers face during the performance of their duties. The "actors," with their simple and relatable acting style, mostly used their practical experience in handling similar situations to convince the judges and audience. This also partly demonstrates the meaningful spirit and work of those involved in mass mobilization: "thinking with their minds, observing with their eyes, listening with their ears, walking with their feet, speaking with their mouths, and working with their hands."

Each skit in the competition demonstrated skill in mobilizing the people to implement the Party and State's guidelines and policies, building "good people-mobilization units," and reflecting stories about people-mobilization work that they often encounter in their daily lives. Another noteworthy aspect of the competition is the enthusiastic attitude and sense of responsibility of each contestant and of individuals from the affiliated units in the unit's area of operation.
The success of the 2023 "Effective Mass Mobilization" competition not only has practical significance for the officers and soldiers of Brigade 971 but also serves as an opportunity to strengthen solidarity and close ties with the people in the garrison area and affiliated agencies and units. Through this, teams have the chance to learn from each other's experiences, which they can then apply and concretize to their work. The competition helps the Brigade's Party Committee and command to realistically assess the quality of the Party committee members in charge of mass mobilization work and the mass mobilization task forces in agencies and units, contributing positively to the innovation and improvement of the Brigade's mass mobilization work in the new situation.
