Accordingly, at the meeting to deploy the Plan of the Provincial People's Committee that was just held, Mr. Bien Tan Tai - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade said that the Trade Delegation will participate in the International Import Fair in China in 2023 from November 3 to 8. Focusing on a number of activities: Displaying and introducing Binh Thuan dragon fruit products at the Vietnam pavilion; attending the Vietnam - China Investment - Trade Promotion Conference in the fields of industry, food, agricultural products and seafood; surveying a number of agricultural wholesale markets and trade centers, supermarkets.

Participating in the 2023 China International Import Fair in Shanghai, the locality was arranged by the Trade Promotion Department a booth of 7 m2 with a 2.5 m wide frontage to display dragon fruit products in the Vietnam booth area. Therefore, in addition to photo documents, brochures, video clips (Chinese version), the provincial Trade Delegation also carefully prepared products for display and introduction in key markets. Including about 200 kg of fresh dragon fruit (50 kg of red flesh, 50 kg of purple-pink flesh, 100 kg of white flesh), dragon fruit wine - juice (30 bottles), dried and soft-dried dragon fruit (25 kg), some other products processed from dragon fruit (25 kg). Participating in the event, the locality focused on promoting the potential and strengths of the province such as "Binh Thuan dragon fruit" products, production and export activities with standards and certifications of dragon fruit products, etc.

During this time, the provincial trade delegation will coordinate with the Vietnam Trade Office in China to conduct field surveys at a number of locations such as commercial centers, supermarkets, and agricultural wholesale markets in Shanghai. Through this, they will learn about the needs, prices, and consumer tastes of the Shanghai market in order to attract partners to boost dragon fruit exports to the Chinese market... Then, they will attend the Vietnam - China Investment - Trade Promotion Conference in the fields of industry, food, agricultural products and fisheries held in Jiangsu province - China. Here, the provincial trade delegation will coordinate to carry out direct trade activities with foreign investors and enterprises to promote the brand and products of Binh Thuan dragon fruit. In addition, it will create conditions for the Binh Thuan Dragon Fruit Association, enterprises, cooperatives processing, trading and exporting dragon fruit in the locality to meet, exchange, and sign cooperation agreements with Chinese partners.

The trade delegation participating in the 2023 China International Import Fair of the province is expected to have 14-16 people led by the leader of the Department of Industry and Trade.
