Bringing Vietnamese goods to the countryside, ensuring quality
According to Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Lan - Acting Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, to serve suburban people shopping for Tet, Hanoi has organized sales points and sales trips for Tet in districts, industrial parks, export processing zones, and rural areas to help people shop for Tet safely and ensure the quality of goods.
As one of the units actively participating in the program of bringing Vietnamese goods to the countryside, to ensure the needs of the capital's people, in addition to 12 groups of goods registered under the market stabilization program (rice, pork, chicken, eggs, seafood, cooking oil, vegetables, processed foods, cakes, jams, candies, etc.) during the 2024 Lunar New Year, Hapro also reserves additional groups of dry goods (bamboo shoots, vermicelli, wood ear mushrooms, etc.); dried fruits and nuts for Tet, other items such as household appliances, cosmetics, etc. The total amount of goods reserved is estimated at approximately 1,000 billion VND.
Ms. Vu Thanh Ha (Phuc Lam commune, My Duc district, Hanoi) said that currently, at convenience stores, traditional markets, mini supermarkets, etc., Tet goods are very abundant.
“In addition to dried goods such as vermicelli, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, eggs, etc., many types of smoked meat, sausages, local pork, salted chicken, veal ham, shrimp/crab/fish sausages of all kinds are also on sale,” Ms. Ha shared.
According to Ms. Le Thi Nu (Trang Viet commune, Me Linh district, Hanoi), the suburbs usually do not have many events, so the Tet Fair is not only an opportunity for people to visit and shop for goods, but also an opportunity for fun and entertainment.
“Currently, counterfeit and poor quality goods are rampant, so I feel much more secure shopping at the Tet fair. Every year, my family chooses to shop for Tet at the Spring Fair to be assured of the quality and origin of the goods,” said Ms. Nu.
