This is the second time in 2024 that the Italian cruise ship Costa Serena, famous for its journeys in Asia, will bring guests to Ha Long on the Hong Kong - Ha Long and Ha Long - Hong Kong routes.
Welcoming the ship, travel agencies and ports organized shuttles, introduced and promoted to tourists special sightseeing and tourism activities in the province, including many attractive experiences at the world heritage - natural wonder of Ha Long Bay, visiting Quang Ninh Museum, city tours to experience culture, cuisine and many other tourist attractions.
According to the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, in 2024, the province welcomed 42 international cruise ships, bringing more than 50,000 visitors of many different nationalities to Ha Long. In the last 3 months of the year, there will be about 13 more cruise ships, expected to bring more than 15,000 visitors to Quang Ninh. Of which, the Costa Serena cruise ship will return to Ha Long 3 more times on the Hong Kong - Ha Long - Hong Kong route.
On October 21, the Viking Orion ship will bring more than 1,000 European tourists to the province, marking the milestone of Quang Ninh welcoming 3 million international visitors in a year.
With priority given to infrastructure investment, especially in transportation and tourism; constant efforts to improve service quality, constantly innovate tourism products… Ha Long is becoming an attractive destination for international cruise ships, a hot spot in travel tours.
