Specifically, information on product quality, goods must have listed prices and be sold at listed prices, food items must ensure hygiene, have equipment for food processing and preservation; have menus in Vietnamese and English; staff must be trained in food safety and hygiene, and have a civilized and polite attitude during service.
“Restaurants that are granted the standard sign for serving tourists are important in improving service quality, business efficiency, and diversifying tourism products. Businesses that are granted the standard sign for serving tourists have the opportunity to affirm their brand and build trust with customers, creating competitiveness for businesses, contributing to the overall development of Hanoi’s tourism industry,” said Mr. Tung.

Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Thuong Tin district, Tran Thi Lan, informed that currently in the district there are 4 tourist destinations of ornamental craft villages including Duyen Thai, Van Diem, Thuy Ung, Hong Van. In the coming time, Thuong Tin district will continue to encourage businesses to upgrade service quality to meet the standards according to the Law on Tourism, thereby being recognized as a "Standard Restaurant" to serve tourists.
