Closer destinations...
During the Binh Thuan Street Culture Week 2023, it is an important event in the series of activities of the National Tourism Year "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence" 2023. With 20 booths displaying local tourism products, organized by the Tourism Promotion Center, Tourism Association and 10 districts and cities in the province, it is truly a highlight, giving local people a clearer view of Binh Thuan tourism.
Since the afternoon of August 27, tourism booths have started to attract visitors, not only about the scenic spots in each locality such as Tanh Linh, Phu Quy, Tuy Phong, Bac Binh, Phan Thiet City, but also about the promotional programs available at tour companies. Along with that, people will have a better understanding of the products and beautiful scenery at each destination.
Ms. Le Thi Xuan Lieu (Phan Thiet City), who used to travel a lot, but due to the pandemic, has not been able to travel for the past few years, shared: “This is an opportunity for people to learn about the cultural values of Vietnam. I am very satisfied with this fair, I can learn about prices, destinations and learn about other tourist attractions.”
“This is a very rich fair with many products, but the most impressive are the booths displaying and promoting tourism and domestic tours. This is a product that creates conditions for people in Binh Thuan in particular and people across the country in general to understand that domestic tours are very rich and useful” - Mr. Nguyen Hoang Sinh shared after visiting.
“I think the current prices are very reasonable because people’s economic conditions are better, so it is easy to find out through tour companies to take your family to explore domestic or international tourism. People in Binh Thuan have the opportunity to register to join the tour to explore the sights in Vietnam, because domestic tourism also has many interesting things” – Ms. Lieu shared more.
Aspiration to reach far
Phu Quy island district participates in the exhibition space with products that tourists can explore. “Having the honor of participating in the exhibition in the space of Street Culture Week, Phu Quy brings marine products such as sea cucumbers, wild pineapples, handicrafts made by the islanders themselves, with the desire that tourists will know more about Phu Quy. More importantly, this year, Phu Quy also has many tourism companies established, creating a new step forward for the island district. Phu Quy is also an island district developing tourism, which is a hot trend among young people today, hopefully contributing to the development of Phu Quy tourism in particular and Binh Thuan in general” – Chau Duc Tin, in charge of Phu Quy tourism booth, said.
Mr. Bui The Nhan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was also present to inspect the organization, sharing: "This year, the province hosts the National Tourism Year, the organization of tourism promotion booths. The full participation of 10 districts, cities and 10 travel agencies has expressed the desire to respond to the National Tourism Year, spread the values of localities, to friends near and far in the province, other provinces and international tourists, contributing to spreading the good values of Binh Thuan in general, Binh Thuan culture in particular to create a very good destination value after the National Tourism Year and many years to come. We highly appreciate the efforts of the units to participate in this fair".
“Binh Thuan Street Culture Week 2023” in which the street festival will be the most anticipated part, when all the Cau Ngu, Nghinh Ong, Ka Te, Dinh Thay Thim festivals will be recreated and paraded for the people and tourists to enjoy.
Hopefully, with 20 booths displaying and promoting tourism products of each locality at this exhibition space, we will receive positive feedback from tourists and local people. An exhibition space with aspirations to reach out for local tourism.
