Hue Heritage Complex - world cultural heritage

Accordingly, there will be an exhibition area with a common theme "Vietnam's Tourism Space, Cultural Heritage, and Famous Landscapes", divided into 3 sub-themes.

The first is the exhibition “Traveling through the cultural heritage and scenic spots of Vietnam”, introducing photos of the country and people of Vietnam that have been recognized by UNESCO: World cultural heritage; world natural heritage, mixed cultural and natural heritage; intangible cultural heritage; documentary heritage. Introducing images of special national monuments, tangible and intangible cultural heritage in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List, famous scenic spots and typical cultural life of the Vietnamese ethnic communities in all regions of the country.

The exhibition “The Capital Regions of Vietnam Past and Present” revolves around the content of the lands that were once the Capitals of Vietnam, where the historical and cultural imprints have been engraved for thousands of years, and are the cultural, economic and political centers of the country. Displaying images of tourism and cultural heritage of the capital regions of Vietnam: Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Hue City and Hanoi.

The exhibition “Cultural Heritage of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups” displays and introduces ethnic cultural heritages from different regions of Vietnam. It includes the culture of the Northern Delta region with traditional Ao Dai, silk brocade; the space of the ancient Kinh family sitting around the dinner table in the kitchen; some traditional crafts such as Dong Ho folk paintings, sculpture, silver carving, bronze carving, etc.

Also in this space will be an area for displaying and performing light sculpture art, a space for Vietnamese tea culture, an exhibition space for "Vietnamese Silk and the Story of Ao Dai", and an area for displaying ancient Vietnamese ceramics.

In addition, there will be exhibition areas with the theme "Cultural heritage tourism and scenic spots" of 31 provinces/cities: Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Hau Giang, An Giang, Can Tho... Localities will introduce tangible and intangible cultural heritages, historical relics, festivals, typical scenic spots; types of tourism, tourism products; cuisine and typical products of the localities.

The event is an opportunity to promote tangible and intangible cultural values ​​and scenic spots of the country and people of Vietnam.

The program includes an exhibition area of ​​“Craft village products, OCOP products, traditional cuisine and consumer products” promoting typical OCOP products nationwide; introducing and promoting culinary culture with traditional cakes, diverse, unique and quality dishes.

According to the organizers, the exhibition is a cultural and tourism activity within the framework of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Hue City and welcoming Hue City to become a centrally-governed city. Thereby, it aims to introduce and promote tangible and intangible cultural values, scenic spots of the country and people of Vietnam built throughout the history of the nation.

Activities at the exhibition also contribute to enhancing exchanges between provinces and cities in organizing activities to link tourism development and cultural arts.
