Previously, the People's Committee of Lao Cai province decided to allow Viet Trung Minerals and Metallurgy Company Limited to transport and consume 194,678 tons of iron ore in the K20 and K21 warehouses of Quy Xa iron mine. This is part of the total 443,940 tons of ore that Viet Trung Minerals and Metallurgy Company Limited reported and requested to be resolved according to Resolution 164/NQ-CP of the Government .

According to the leader of Viet Trung Minerals and Metallurgy Company Limited, to ensure the resumption of the factory's operations, the unit has promptly organized inspections, repairs and re-runs of the equipment lines of Lao Cai Iron and Steel Factory and the equipment lines at Quy Xa iron mine. Up to now, the equipment and lines are operating smoothly and synchronously and more than 1,000 workers have returned to work at Lao Cai Iron and Steel Factory.

Iron ore is transported from Quy Xa iron mine to Lao Cai Iron and Steel Factory.

It is expected that on the first day, the company will transport about 1,000 tons of iron ore from Quy Xa iron mine to Lao Cai Iron and Steel Factory; in the following days, each day will transport about 1,600 tons of iron ore to ensure sufficient raw materials for Lao Cai Iron and Steel Factory when it resumes operations.

It is expected that about 1,600 tons of iron ore will be transported to Lao Cai Iron and Steel Factory every day.

It can be seen that the decision of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee has removed difficulties for businesses and promoted industrial production activities, created jobs for workers, and created revenue for the local budget.
