Rest stop Km205 on Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway through Binh Thuan is about to be put into temporary operation, serving people traveling during the 2025 Lunar New Year.
On the afternoon of January 23, Mr. Bui Duy Anh, Head of the Office of Highway QLDB IV.1 (Highway QLDB Area IV) said that this unit had just coordinated with Project Management Board 7 to inspect the site and work with the investor, discuss the traffic organization plan, and put into operation the Km205 rest stop (Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province) on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway.

"Through the working session, the parties agreed on a traffic organization plan and reported to Highway QLDB IV to soon approve the temporary rest stop to be put into temporary operation from January 24 to serve people during Tet," said Mr. Duy Anh.
Mr. Dinh Van Tinh, an expert from the Expressway Management Board, said that after being approved for temporary operation, Project Management Board 7 will coordinate with relevant units to fence and close a temporary rest stop at Km199 through Ham Thuan Bac district to ensure traffic safety.
According to the reporter's records, as of 5:00 p.m. on January 23, the road leading from the highway to the Km205 rest stop has completed the parking lot and temporary restroom items.
However, the authorities have not yet allowed vehicles to enter the rest stop. The reason is that the contractor is slow to complete the traffic organization plan, causing the station to be put into operation 3 days later than the set target.
Workers are also urgently installing signs at the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway rest stop at Km 205 on the right side of the route at the area leading to the rest stop.

Previously, on January 20, two rest stops at Km 47+500 on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway bordering Dong Nai and Binh Thuan provinces were put into temporary operation.
Thus, with the operation of the above mentioned rest stop, the expressway section from Ho Chi Minh City to Ninh Thuan province will have 4 rest stops including: Station Km42 Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway (Long Thanh Expressway); Station Km 47+500 Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway, Station Km205 (mentioned above) and temporary rest stop Km113, Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway.

Drivers should note that, in addition to the Km42 rest stop, there is a fuel station. The remaining rest stops are still under construction and do not have gas or oil stations. Therefore, drivers should refuel before entering the highway or turn to intersections to refuel.
The Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway is 100.8km long and passes through Binh Thuan province. The expressway is planned with two rest stops at Km 205+092 through Ham Thuan Bac district and at Km 144+560 through Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province. The area of each station is 10ha, including the left and right sides of the route.
