On the afternoon of June 29, Hanoi announced the 10th grade exam scores. The top scorer of the exam was Nguyen Hoang Minh Quan - a 9A student at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School.

The exam scores were announced 4 days earlier than the previous schedule of July 2.

The benchmark review schedule is therefore also pushed up earlier.

Specifically, at 8:00 a.m. on July 1, the Department met with school principals to approve admission scores for specialized classes, bilingual classes, and bilingual classes.

1:00 p.m. July 1, the Department approved the benchmark scores for non-specialized grade 10 admission.

According to Dan Tri reporter, it is expected that today (July 1), the benchmark scores for entering grade 10 of high school in 2024 will be announced by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.

Previously, according to the plan, the benchmark scores were announced between July 1 and July 4.

The entrance exam for grade 10 public schools in Hanoi will take place on June 8-9 for general candidates, June 10 for candidates registering for specialized exams, and June 11-12 for candidates taking dual exams.

This year's exam is highly differentiated, according to many teachers. The benchmark score is expected to be lower than in 2023.

In the 2024-2025 school year, 119 public high schools in Hanoi were assigned 81,200 enrollment targets. With nearly 106,000 candidates taking the exam, about 25,000 candidates will not be admitted.

From 1:00 p.m. on July 10 to July 12, students need to confirm their enrollment online or in person.

For self-financed public schools, private schools, vocational education - continuing education centers, and vocational education institutions, students confirm their enrollment directly.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training will meet to review additional benchmark scores for grade 10, if any, on July 17.
