The number of visitors to Da Nang by train during this holiday is estimated at more than 13,200, an increase of 10% over the same period in 2024. The Da Nang Department of Tourism directed the Tourism Promotion Center to coordinate with the Vietnam Railways Corporation to organize a welcome for the special train pair running on the North-South route named "Unification Train" with art performances, traditional musical instruments in the train waiting area, performances of releasing peace doves, welcoming drums; giving flowers and gifts to passengers.
According to the plan, train SE1 departs from Hanoi station at 20:55 on April 29, expected to arrive in Da Nang at 12:32 on April 30; the number of passengers getting off in Da Nang is expected to be 240 people. Train SE4 departs from Saigon station at 19:00 on April 29, expected to arrive in Da Nang at 12:42 on April 30; the number of passengers getting off in Da Nang is expected to be 69 people.
The Da Nang Department of Tourism estimates that the total capacity of 4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments during the upcoming April 30 and May 1 holidays will reach 75-80%. The Department has issued a document requesting tourism service establishments in the area to ensure customer service and organize activities during the holidays; directing the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches to ensure safety and environmental sanitation at tourist beaches and Son Tra Peninsula.
At the same time, the People's Committees of districts and towns are requested to strengthen security, order, environmental sanitation, and safety for tourists when participating in tourism activities in the area, and prevent stalking and soliciting tourists.
