Nam Sach district officials check the voter list to collect opinions on the project to arrange commune-level administrative units.

The new communes will have the common name Nam Sach with serial numbers from 1 to 5.

Nam Sach 1 commune is based on the total natural area and population of Nam Sach town, Dong Lac and Hong Phong communes. The commune has a total natural area of 19.75 km² and a population of 36,758 people. It is expected that the office of Nam Sach 1 commune will be located at the current headquarters of the District Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Nam Sach district.

Nam Sach 2 Commune is based on the integration of the entire natural area and population of the three communes of Thai Tan, Minh Tan and An Son. The commune is 20.73 km² wide and has a population of 20,334 people. The commune's working headquarters is expected to be located at the current headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Thai Tan and An Son communes. In which, the main headquarters will be located in Thai Tan commune.

Nam Sach 3 Commune is based on the total natural area and population of the three communes of Quoc Tuan, Tran Phu and Hiep Cat. The commune has a natural area of 24.99 km² and a population of 35,937 people. The commune's working headquarters is expected to be located at the current headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Tran Phu and Quoc Tuan communes. In which, the location in Tran Phu commune is the main headquarters.

Nam Sach 4 Commune is based on the merger of the entire natural area and population of the three communes of Hop Tien, Nam Tan and Nam Hung. The commune's working headquarters is expected to be located at the current headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Hop Tien and Nam Tan communes; the main headquarters is located in Hop Tien commune.

Nam Sach 5 Commune is based on the merger of the entire natural area and population of the three communes of An Phu, An Binh and a part of the natural area and population of Cong Hoa Commune (a part of the natural area of Cong Hoa Commune is merged into the localities of Kinh Mon Town and Kim Thanh District). The commune has a natural area of 27.25 km², a population of 35,121 people. The commune's working headquarters is expected to be located at the current headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of An Phu and Cong Hoa Communes; the main headquarters is in An Phu Commune.

According to the plan map of the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Hai Duong province (the plan to arrange into 64 units including 21 wards and 43 communes), Nam Sach 1 and Nam Sach 2 communes will be planned to develop into wards.
