On the afternoon of June 26, information from the Quang Nam Provincial Police said that the Tra Tan Commune Police, Bac Tra My District, had just assisted a male Korean tourist to reunite with his relatives and family after getting lost while visiting Hoi An.
Accordingly, through local management work, at about 6:30 a.m. the same day, the police force of this commune discovered a foreigner with strange signs.
The police then approached to gather information. Through initial verification, it was found that this person's name was Kyucheol (48 years old), a Korean tourist visiting Vietnam for sightseeing.
While sightseeing by motorbike, he got lost. He did not have any identification documents with him, could not speak Vietnamese, could not remember his address or how to contact his relatives and family.
Faced with the above situation, the Commune Police took Mr. Kyucheol to the headquarters to assist in finding relatives, encourage his spirit, and support him with food and rest. Due to the lack of information and his inability to speak Vietnamese, the police force encountered many difficulties in exchanging and verifying related information.
