Maysa's real name is Maysa Bouavone Phanthaboouasy, she was born in 2001 in Luang Prabang province, Laos. She has just graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Quang Ninh University of Industry.

Maysa is known as a very famous TikToker and Youtuber on social networks. Currently, Maysa has nearly 1 million followers on TikTok; more than 394,000 followers on Fanpage and 28,000 followers on personal Facebook page; more than 86,000 subscribers on Youtube...

Maysa's clips often contain content about her daily life in Vietnam and Laos. In addition, this girl also regularly posts clips about traveling, experiencing culture and cuisine in the provinces of our country. Maysa's clips on social networking platforms are very popular with young people in Vietnam and Laos. She is currently one of the most popular and loved KOLS on social networks.

Because of these good deeds, Maysa has been invited many times to participate in cultural programs, major celebrations related to Vietnam - Laos relations, or national events.

Maysa attended the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) in Dien Bien province.

Sharing with reporters from Cong Thuong Newspaper, Maysa said that Vietnam is a country that she has heard a lot about since she was a child. When she grew up and learned about the history of Laos and Vietnam, she became more interested and curious about the culture, country and people of Vietnam.

“I have loved Vietnam since I was little. When I finished high school in Laos, I received a scholarship from the Government, so I did not hesitate to choose Vietnam as my study abroad destination. I also chose Quang Ninh University of Industry as the place to stay throughout my journey,” Maysa shared.

Talking about what impressed her most in Vietnam, Maysa said that she admired the patriotism of the Vietnamese people, especially the image of the national flag. Along with that, the enthusiastic, sincere and open personality of the people made her love and want to be attached to Vietnam.

Maysa also added that she initially planned to build a channel on social networks to share about her daily life, and the motivation that helped her have more enthusiasm to succeed like now is to want to strengthen the friendship between Vietnam and Laos to develop more and more. She really wants Vietnamese people to know more about Laos and wants Lao people to know more about Vietnam. Maysa believes that perhaps from her simple, sincere clips and love for Vietnam and Laos, along with the Vietnamese she learned, she has become more known on social networks.

“When I post clips about Vietnam, people in Laos are very curious and interested. Many people want me to translate into Lao so that people there can understand more about Vietnam. I will improve this in the future so that the clips can spread widely.”

Maysa is a former student of the Faculty of Economics, Quang Ninh University of Industry.

Maysa also affirmed that her choice to study in Vietnam was very correct. She also hopes that more Laotian youth will come to Vietnam to study, because here, international students will learn many things, from knowledge, working environment, to understanding cultural and social traditions. Along with that, she realized that Vietnam is a dynamic, safe environment, very suitable for Lao people who want to study abroad.

“I always remember the saying, “Vietnam and Laos, our two countries, have a love deeper than the Red River and Mekong River”. I hope that my small actions will contribute to spreading the culture of the two countries, strengthening the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos”, Maysa expressed.

Recently, this girl had a graduation ceremony at Quang Ninh University of Industry, she did not hesitate to share her plan to continue to stay in Vietnam.

“My immediate goal is to continue to stay here to learn as well as visit and explore historical and cultural sites in Vietnam . In particular, I will regularly return to Laos to spread the culture, beautiful scenery, cuisine as well as promote my homeland. Currently, I am returning to Laos to do paperwork and procedures to continue studying for a Master's degree in Vietnam ,” Maysa added.
