Since her childhood, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep (born in 2003, from Cam Hung commune, Cam Xuyen) has cherished the dream of studying abroad. In 2021, after graduating from Ha Tinh University Primary, Secondary and High School, Diep convinced her family to let her go to Thailand to study at university. The major she chose was supply chain management at the Faculty of Business Administration, Assumption University in Bangkok. Despite many concerns and worries, Ngoc Diep's parents and 3 sisters supported her in pursuing her passion.

Diep said that in the first days of arriving in the Land of Golden Pagodas, she encountered many difficulties due to differences in culture, lifestyle, and language barriers. In addition, the heavy curriculum forced the female student from Ha Tinh to always make constant efforts to not fall behind her native classmates.

"I learn to face difficulties, seeing them as opportunities for me to learn and experience new things. I also spend time learning about the culture and history, respecting and following social rules in the host country as well as learning Thai to be able to communicate more effectively," said Diep.
