The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 13-14 (134-166km/h), gusting to level 17, moving in the West Northwest direction, speed 5-10km/h.

At 7:00 p.m. on September 5, the center of the storm was at about 19.6 degrees North latitude, 114.3 degrees East longitude, about 360km east of Hainan Island (China); intensity level 15, gust level 17; moving in the West Northwest direction, speed 10-15 km/h.

Storm impact forecast: The North East Sea has strong winds of level 10-12, the area near the storm's eye has winds of level 13-15, gusting over level 17; rough seas. From September 5-6, storm No. 3 will continue to increase in intensity, possibly reaching level 16, gusting over level 17 in the northern waters of the North East Sea.

The sea area in the North East Sea has waves 5-7m high, near the storm center 7-10m. From September 6, the wave height may gradually increase to 10-12m. Ships operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by strong winds and large waves.

On land, today's weather forecast (September 5) is that the Northern region and the area from Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue will be hot and sunny, with showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and at night.

Area from Da Nang - Binh Thuan : Sunny during the day, hot in the north; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night, especially in the area from Quang Ngai - Binh Thuan, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night, with heavy rain in some places.

The Central Highlands region has rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall from 20-40mm, locally over 80mm.
