Weather forecast 7/21/2024: Heavy rain in the Central Highlands and Southeast

Today's weather (July 21), the Northern region has scattered showers and thunderstorms. It is still raining in Hanoi but the rainfall has decreased. It will be sunny in the afternoon and early afternoon.

The Central Highlands and the Southeast region will have moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing very heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 30-60mm, locally over 120mm (rain concentrated in the afternoon and at night). From the night of July 21, heavy rain will gradually decrease.

The Southwest region has scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places with rainfall of 15-30mm, some places over 70mm. The Central region has scattered showers and thunderstorms, with localized heavy rain in some places with rainfall of 10-30mm, some places over 60mm (rain concentrated in the afternoon and evening).

Northeast

During thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind may occur. Lowest temperature 24-27 degrees, in mountainous areas below 24 degrees. Highest temperature 31-34 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night, locally heavy rain; scattered showers and thunderstorms during the day. Southeast wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature 24-27 degrees. Highest temperature 31-34 degrees.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night, locally heavy rain; showers and thunderstorms in some places during the day. Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature 25-28 degrees. Highest temperature 30-33 degrees, some places above 33 degrees.

Central Highlands

Cloudy, with moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain (rain concentrated in the afternoon and night). Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature 20-23 degrees. Highest temperature 25-28 degrees.

Southern Vietnam

Cloudy, moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, some places have very heavy rain (rain concentrated in the afternoon and night). Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind may occur. Lowest temperature 22-25 degrees. Highest temperature 28-31 degrees, some places above 31 degrees.

Hanoi

Cloudy, rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms at night and early morning; showers and thunderstorms in some places during the day. Southeast wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature 26-28 degrees. Highest temperature 32-34 degrees.
