Forest fires in many localities are forecast to be at an extremely dangerous level.

In districts, towns and cities, the forest fire forecast levels are as follows:

In the districts of Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, Yen The, Lang Giang; and in the towns of Chu and Viet Yen, the forest fire forecast is at level V (extremely dangerous). In Tan Yen district, the forest fire forecast is at level IV (dangerous). In Hiep Hoa district, the forest fire forecast is at level III (high). In Bac Giang city, due to recent rain (7 mm of rain), the forest fire forecast is at level I (low).

The Forest Protection Department requests the Chairman of the District People's Committee and the District Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Command to directly direct forest fire prevention and fighting work in the locality.

Forest owners and rangers regularly conduct strict inspections in key fire-prone areas; arrange forces to guard and be on duty during the day to ensure compliance with the forest fire forecast level specified in Decision No. 66/2021/QD-UBND dated November 30, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee; promptly detect fires, give alarms and mobilize forces and means to extinguish them immediately.

Regularly and promptly announce information on forecasts and warnings of forest fire risks, regulations on fire use in forests and forest edges, and daily forest fire situations in the locality on mass media; when a forest fire occurs, mobilize forces and means to promptly extinguish it; investigate and verify the fire and track down the perpetrators for strict handling according to the provisions of law.
