Attending the final night were representatives of the Department of Science and Technology, representatives of Vinh University's leadership, experts, judges, teams and many students in Nghe An province.
The contest is an opportunity for youth union members to express their wishes, suggestions, recommendations and proposals related to the implementation of socio-economic development policies and strategies.
Through the contest, we promote and support creative and entrepreneurial activities among youth union members; provide entrepreneurial knowledge, search for and honor creative entrepreneurial ideas, and accompany young people in establishing their careers.
After more than 4 months of launching the Flag Up 2024 Contest, the Organizing Committee has selected from more than 60 applications and conducted the preliminary round, selecting 14 topics of contestant groups to enter the Semi-finals. After the Semi-finals, the Organizing Committee selected the 10 best contestant groups to participate in the Final Round.
The 10 projects that made it to the final round include: My Green - a solution to reduce food waste; Hanatea flower tea; Beauty; Developing unique products using 3D printing technology - 3D Maker; OCUS sausage - sausage from tilapia; Investing in the production and business of bottled fruit juice Sipsoothie - a solution from nature; Farmlink; Producing and trading products from oranges; Producing black garlic honey drinks from ginger, garlic, sugarcane; Ismart personal investment management application.
The finalist projects are considered quite practical and have the potential to succeed in practice when starting a business in the future.
In the final round, the teams have to go through 2 rounds. Round 1 is to display the product visually, explain the project and round 2 is to answer questions from the jury.
After more than 2 hours of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee scored fairly and objectively and awarded the projects including 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 4 Encouragement Prizes.
The OCUS Sausage Project - sausages from tilapia by the group of authors: Vo Thi My Tam, Le Dinh Khanh Duy, Nguyen Thi Lan, Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, Nguyen Dai Phuoc, Nguyen Thi Khanh Linh won the first prize.
