According to the People's Committee of Thu Duc City (HCMC), the Hoang Huu Nam road project has a total length of 2km, connecting many important areas such as the new Eastern bus station, Hanoi highway intersection, Oncology Hospital 2...
The project started in June 2015, but was later halted due to land acquisition issues. The project will restart in 2023.
Talking to Tuoi Tre Online , the Thu Duc Area Construction Investment Management Board (investor) said that the units are actively mobilizing people to hand over the site and carry out "rolling" construction - working on the site as it becomes available, striving to complete it by April 30, 2025.
Up to now, only over 60% of the construction has been completed. Of which, the D400 and D13 roads have been completed to serve the Oncology Hospital and the new Eastern Bus Station. The section on Hoang Huu Nam Street is being worked on at locations where people have handed over the land.
100% of households in Long Thanh My and Tan Phu wards have agreed to receive money and hand over the land. The main land issue currently is 39 households in the project to expand the city's Martyrs' Cemetery.
Therefore, the Compensation and Site Clearance Board and Thu Duc City People's Committee have increased their efforts to mobilize people to hand over the site for completion of construction.
"We will work first on the locations that people have handed over. There are places that have not been handed over but have enough land to build roads (not including sidewalks), so we can continue to work on them in the near future. Everyone's spirit is to strive to complete and inaugurate the road by April 30, 2025," said the representative.
