(Dan Tri) - Right after the Lunar New Year, the Prime Minister issued many important instructions to speed up the North-South high-speed railway project. Many provinces and cities where the railway will pass through in the future, including Ha Nam, will benefit from this route.
Not only railways, the road and air system of the southern province of Hanoi is also gradually being completed, making connection with the whole country easier.
Traffic maps completed every day
Since before Tet, hundreds of engineers and workers have been working day and night at the Phu Thu intersection (Ha Nam) construction site, with the goal of shortening the construction time. The project has completed the branch road system on both sides of the highway and is currently building an underpass, expected to be completed in August, 4 months ahead of schedule.

This is one of five intersections on the North-South Expressway through Ha Nam province and is the largest intersection right at the southern gateway of Hanoi. With a total investment of nearly 1,400 billion VND, a modern 3-storey design, the project will help connect the North-South Expressway with the Ring Road 5 of the Capital region. When completed, it will be a strong boost to the transport infrastructure of the entire region.
Along with that, the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway section is proposing to adjust the planning, increasing the scale to 10 - 12 lanes (the Phap Van - Ring Road 4 section has a scale of 12 lanes, the Ring Road 4 - Phu Thu section has a scale of 10 lanes).

From the Phu Thu - Ring Road 5 intersection, people can connect to Dien Bien Phu route to go straight to Sun Urban City Ha Nam - a 420ha resort metropolis with "1,001 utilities" created by Sun Group in Phu Ly City. The 68m wide phase 1 route has completed the expansion, asphalt paving and tree planting, along with the rapid construction progress of the high-rise apartment complex and low-rise subdivisions.

According to the Ministry of Transport, the progress milestones of the North-South high-speed railway project have been planned in detail, with land clearance expected to begin in 2025. A number of private enterprises such as Thaco, Hoa Phat... have also been assigned by the Prime Minister to research production technology.
Meanwhile, the second airport in the capital region is planned to connect the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway, National Highway 1A, the North - South high-speed railway, the North - South unified railway... opening up strong development space for the South of Hanoi.
