In particular, the section in Binh Duong province passes through 5 district-level localities; the starting point intersects with Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City (in Thuan An city), the end point is at the border between Binh Duong province - Binh Phuoc province.
The section passing through Binh Duong province has a total length of about 52.159 km. Of which, the section that maintains the current cross-section of the road is about 6.5 km, the newly constructed section is about 45.6 km.

Investment phase, phase 1 invests in a 4-lane expressway, with a continuous emergency lane along the entire route, a roadbed width of 25.5 m, and a design speed of 100 km/h. The completion phase invests in a complete expressway with 6 lanes according to the plan, and a design speed of 100 km/h.
Perspective of the Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot – Chon Thanh expressway project (section through Binh Phuoc province)
The route includes 4 interchanges and 2 highway entrances; construction of 26 bridges; arrangement of underpasses under the highway, restoration of residential roads and existing roads suitable to local needs.
Completion phase, investment in a complete highway with 6 lanes according to planning, design speed 100 km/h.
The project is invested under the PPP method (BOT contract type) and commits to local budget capital.
The project, which runs through Binh Phuoc province and is about 7 km long, has been approved by the Provincial People's Council for investment with a total cost of VND1,474 billion. Of which, the central budget is about VND1,000 billion, the rest is from the local budget.
On the same morning, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and the Central delegation attended the inauguration ceremony of the first phase of the automobile tire factory at Minh Hung - Sikico Industrial Park in Dong No Commune, Hon Quan District, Binh Phuoc Province. The project was invested by HaoHua Group with a total capital of up to 500 million USD. This is the largest foreign investment project ever in Binh Phuoc.
After completion of construction, the project is expected to have an annual capacity of 14.4 million sets of tires, with an annual output value of 770 million USD. The production capacity of tubeless all-steel radial truck tires is expected to be 2.4 million sets annually and of semi-steel radial tires is expected to be 12 million sets; the expected value is expected to be 770 million USD.
The project not only creates jobs for more than 1,600 local people but also promotes the socio-economic and business environment of the area surrounding the industrial park to become increasingly prosperous and developed.
