Dong Nai to build Ma Da bridge connecting with Binh Phuoc province in June

The connecting route from Ma Da Bridge to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 will also start construction in June 2026 and be put into operation in 2028.

To implement the above projects, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province will report to the Prime Minister to adjust the planning of Dong Nai province; propose the Ministry of Finance to add the Ma Da bridge project and traffic routes connecting Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces to the planning of the Southeast region.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinates with the Management Board of the Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project to carry out procedures for changing the purpose of forest use at the project. The People's Committee of Vinh Cuu District prepares documents to adjust the land use planning and construction planning related to the project; completes procedures for land recovery within the scope of the Ma Da Bridge project this June.

At the same time, resettlement areas will be built to resettle households that will be relocated in the project. The Director of the Dong Nai Provincial Land Fund Development Center will complete compensation and site clearance for the section through the Dong Nai Cultural Nature Reserve in December 2025.

Dong Nai province requires compensation and site clearance for the Ma Da bridge project to be completed before this June. For the remaining sections, compensation and land acquisition will be completed in June 2026. Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee will direct the Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve Management Board to work with the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO, the Vietnam MAB National Commission, and the UNESCO Office in Vietnam regarding the implementation of the construction of Ma Da bridge and the road connecting Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces through the core zone of the Biosphere Reserve.

Previously, on March 15, the People's Committees of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces had a meeting and agreed on the investment policy for the road project connecting the two localities via Ma Da bridge. The project scope is from Dong Xoai city (Binh Phuoc) following DT 753 road through Ma Da bridge to Dong Nai. Then continue following DT 761 and DT 767 routes connecting to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4.
