Dong Nai will open the largest ever 4-day Ceramic and Hot Air Balloon Festival

Dong Nai Festival 2025 is one of the biggest cultural and tourism events of the year, aiming to promote traditional culture, develop tourism and local economy, and celebrate the important event of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

The opening ceremony of Dong Nai Festival events will take place at 2 locations. Specifically, the Hot Air Balloon Festival will open at 7:00 a.m. on April 27, at Son Tien Eco-tourism City Joint Stock Company (Son Tien Tourist Area), An Hoa Ward, Bien Hoa City. The Hot Air Balloon Festival will gather 50 hot air balloons symbolizing 50 years of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

This is the largest hot air balloon festival ever in Vietnam with many special activities including: hot air balloon flying, experience flying, hot air balloon tour, hot air balloon lantern night... During the Hot Air Balloon Festival, people will experience hot air balloon flying for free (weather permitting). In particular, on the evening of April 30, the hot air balloon lantern festival will take place at Nguyen Van Tri Riverside Park in Bien Hoa city.

The Bien Hoa Traditional Pottery Festival will open at 5:00 p.m. on April 27 at the Dong Nai Province Event and Foreign Affairs Center. The Bien Hoa Traditional Pottery Festival will exhibit unique ceramic art products with high cultural and aesthetic values. It will introduce the history, production process and development of Bien Hoa pottery. Exchange activities between artisans and the public will help raise awareness of traditional artistic values, while promoting the development of Bien Hoa pottery village.

According to the Organizing Committee of Dong Nai Festival 2025, the festival's series of activities not only introduces pottery and hot air balloons but also takes advantage of the resonance of supporting activities such as cultural exhibitions, folk games, art composition competitions, and international cultural exchanges, bringing diverse and profound experiences to participants.
