Dong Nai plans to start construction of the Provincial Political - Administrative Center project in the second quarter of 2027.

Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has just announced the preliminary results and implementation roadmap of the Project to convert the functions of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park and the Provincial Political - Administrative Center.

According to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, currently the People's Committee of Bien Hoa city and the Provincial Land Fund Development Center are carrying out land recovery to calculate compensation for property values, relocate companies and 225 households out of the project area to convert the functions of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park and the Provincial Political - Administrative Center, with the expected implementation time in the third quarter of 2025.

The State will invest in two public projects including: investment in some connecting roads from the administrative area, the conference center to Tran Quoc Toan Street and the parallel road of National Highway 1; investment project in the administrative area, conference center, square. The total investment of the two projects is about 8,600 billion VND.

Infrastructure projects are expected to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2026; the provincial political and administrative center project is expected to start construction in the second quarter of 2027 and be put into use at the end of 2029.

In the coming time, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee will report to the Provincial Party Standing Committee for opinions on selecting investment options and forms.

Also according to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, based on the policy of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Committee continues to direct the organization of architectural competition for the Political - Administrative Center; immediately update the general planning of Bien Hoa city (being submitted to the Ministry of Construction), locally adjust the planning of subdivision A2 for approval to continue implementation.
