In the first months of the year, the export orders of Son Lam Trading Service Company Limited in Quyet Tien village, Ngoc Phung commune (Thuong Xuan) increased by about 20%, so the capital demand of the enterprise also increased to be able to expand production scale. Grasping this demand, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa has granted a credit limit to the enterprise with a working capital of 10 billion VND. In addition, the bank has also adjusted the lending interest rate down to about 5%/year, helping enterprises to have more conditions to invest, promote production and business. Mr. Cao Van Son, Director of the enterprise, said: "During the difficult time, the company was supported by Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa to access capital with preferential interest rates. The bank always shares and supports enterprises through reducing loan interest rates. That helps us access many preferential loan sources at the same time, invest in expanding production and business, creating jobs for many workers. For example, this year, the enterprise has received a 2% interest rate reduction from the bank. This has helped us save a lot of production costs, buy more goods to reserve production resources".

Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa has closely followed the direction of the Government and the banking sector to proactively reduce operating costs and reduce lending interest rates for customers. Accordingly, the bank has adjusted the lending interest rate floor three times, in which short-term lending interest rates have decreased by 0.5% - 1%/year, medium and long-term lending interest rates have decreased by 1 - 1.5%/year compared to the beginning of the year for all more than 62,000 customers borrowing capital from the bank, with the interest amount reduced by more than 15 billion VND. In addition, the bank is also offering many preferential lending programs with short-term interest rates from only 3%/year and medium and long-term lending package interest rates from only 6%/year for each customer group. Thanks to that, by the end of the second quarter of 2024, the total outstanding balance of credit programs of Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa reached nearly 18,000 trillion VND. Along with that, in order for people and businesses to grasp credit policies, especially preferential credit for agricultural development and to have more convenience in accessing capital sources, as well as using loans effectively, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa has directed its branches and transaction offices to coordinate with political organizations, unions and local authorities to establish loan groups; support and advise on production plans, management and use of loans. In addition, the bank also implements many loan interest rate policy programs such as loans for large enterprises, small and medium enterprises, export enterprises; agriculture - forestry - fishery sector, interest rate support program according to Decree No. 31 of the Government; social housing loan program according to Resolution 33 of the Government, loans to support individuals receiving budget salaries, loans to support medical staff... With the synchronous implementation of mechanisms and policies on lending interest rates to support people and businesses to develop production and business, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa continues to affirm that it always accompanies and shares difficulties, supports people and businesses to optimize loan costs, meet living needs, promptly supplement capital sources to restructure operations, serve production and business, and contribute to promoting economic growth.

In addition, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa is providing more than 200 banking products, services and utilities, actively contributing to the development of the non-cash payment market, improving access to banking services for the economy. Accordingly, the bank has invested in more ATMs, CDMs; installed more POS machines, payment transaction points via QR-Code, VietQR; opened payment deposit accounts and made non-cash payments through banks. To date, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa has opened nearly 300,000 payment deposit accounts; actively deployed e-banking services; card services; lending models associated with businesses; lending through the issuance of overdraft cards in rural agricultural areas. Thereby, contributing to promoting the implementation of digital transformation goals in rural areas.
