In 2025, after screening, Muong La district has 414 households approved by the District People's Committee to support the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses, of which: 394 households will rebuild and 20 households will repair. The district has Completed construction of 414 households before March 15, 2025, reaching 100% of the plan. To date, construction and repair of 364 houses have been completed, reaching 87.68%; 51 households are still under construction, striving to complete before April 15, 2025.

The total funding requirement for support is over 24.4 billion VND. To date, over 19.4 billion VND has been mobilized, including: The budget allocated by the Provincial Fund for the Poor Mobilization Committee from socialized sources is over 4.6 billion VND; the budget for saving 5% of the district budget is over 1 billion VND; the provincial budget has supplemented nearly 13.7 billion VND. By April 8, over 4.7 billion VND has been disbursed; the total proposed additional funding is over 4.8 billion VND .

The District Steering Committee and communes have propagated, mobilized forces and people to support 22,396 working days, 120 cubic meters of sand, 2,000 bricks and other household items, equivalent to over 3.9 billion VND in cash.

Muong La district recommends the province soon Allocate additional funding to support 414 households to ensure implementation progress, helping households stabilize their lives soon; propose the province to allow 243 additional households to receive support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025, including: Renovating houses for 227 poor households and repairing houses of 16 poor, near-poor and meritorious households.

After the inspection, comrade Trang Thi Xuan acknowledged and commended the efforts and attempts in implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Muong La district. At the same time, she requested the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the district, along with communes and towns, to continue to monitor, supervise, urge and create financial conditions for families to construct on schedule, ensuring the quality of the works. Carefully review poor households, near-poor households, households with meritorious services to the revolution, and newly-emerged poor households to complete the dossiers and submit them to the province for early consideration and approval.
