(QBĐT) - On the occasion of the traditional Lao New Year Bunpimay, on the afternoon of April 9, a high-ranking delegation of Quang Binh province led by Mr. Tran Hai Chau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited and congratulated the Party Committee, government and people of Salavan province (Lao PDR). The delegation included Mr. Doan Ngoc Lam, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments, agencies and branches.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Binh province, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Hai Chau sent his deepest condolences to the Party Committee, government and people of Salavan province on the passing of General Khamtay Siphandone, former Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, former President and former Prime Minister of the Lao PDR.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Hai Chau presented 200 million VND to Salavan province to carry out social security work.

Expressing his gratitude for the warm and sincere welcome from the leaders of Salavan province, Mr. Tran Hai Chau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, informed about the socio-economic development of Quang Binh province and the results of cooperation between the two provinces in recent times.
