Attending the meeting were Mr. Dang Ngoc Hau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments and branches; leaders of districts, cities and towns.

In 2024, Son La province will have 273 workers working abroad under contracts, reaching 136% of the planned target. In 2025, the province plans to send 200 workers to work abroad under contracts. As a result, from the beginning of the year until now, the whole province has had 135 workers working abroad under contracts, including: 85 in Japan, 30 in Taiwan, and 20 in Korea.

The representative of the Trade and Tourism Labor Export Joint Stock Company hopes that districts, cities and towns will create conditions for the Company to consult and select workers to work for a limited period abroad in the markets of Japan, Qatar, Taiwan... in the fields of factory workers, construction workers, nurses, welders, tailors for workers in the province. The recruitment period is from April 4 to December 31, 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assigned the Provincial People's Committee to develop and issue a plan to coordinate with the Trade and Tourism Labor Export Joint Stock Company to promote, mobilize, advise, and provide career guidance to send workers to work abroad. Assigned the Provincial Party Committee to direct and advise the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to issue a project to send workers to work abroad for the period 2025 - 2030; propose to issue provincial policies to support workers to work abroad.

Districts, cities, towns and the Trade and Tourism Labor Export Joint Stock Company coordinate to organize propaganda conferences at commune and village levels; coordinate to provide consultation and vocational training according to the plan and Project; pay attention to directing the removal of difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process.
