Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mai Van Tuat and the working delegation visited, inspected, encouraged production, and gave gifts to cadres, workers, and employees of Dong Giao Food Export Joint Stock Company.
In 2023, the Company's total revenue will reach over VND 3,000 billion, an increase of 138% compared to 2022, of which export turnover will reach 60 million USD, making it one of the leading units in the country in terms of fruit and vegetable export turnover to the EU market. Currently, the Company has exported products to more than 55 countries around the world with 4 main raw material areas in Ninh Binh province, the Red River Delta, North Central, Northwest, and Central Highlands provinces, creating jobs for over 3,350 workers. In the first quarter of 2024, the Company will start building Trung Son Industrial Cluster, developing new products: pineapple cakes, energy drinks, mineral water... gradually developing into tourism products of the province.
Here, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mai Van Tuat acknowledged, commended and congratulated the Company's production and business results in 2023. Despite many difficulties, the Party Committee, the Company's leaders, officers, workers and employees have made efforts, responsibilities, overcome difficulties to achieve the production and business goals and plans for 2023, expand export market share in demanding markets, increase revenue, create jobs for many workers, thereby building prestige and brand in the domestic and international markets, making a very important contribution to the successful implementation of the political tasks of Tam Diep province and city.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also highly appreciated the Company for its good coordination in implementing national defense and security tasks and social security activities in the area. Expressing his belief that the Company will continue to achieve greater results in 2024, he hoped that the Company's officials, leaders and employees will continue to overcome difficulties, enhance innovation, research and produce new products with unique characteristics of Ninh Binh, contributing to enriching the market of tourist gifts, completing the proposed business strategy, and contributing to the province's early realization of the goal of becoming a heritage city.
Next, the delegation visited VICEM Tam Diep Cement One Member Co., Ltd. in Quang Son Commune, Tam Diep City. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the delegation listened to the Company's leaders report on the production and business situation. Accordingly, in 2023, the Company's revenue reached over VND 1,210 billion, export value reached over USD 26.4 million, and budget contribution was over VND 16.6 billion.
The Company is currently providing jobs for over 600 workers with an average salary of over 12 million VND/person/month. In January 2024, the Company's production activities have improved, with production output reaching 130,000 tons, exceeding the plan by 25%. The Company's products are currently exported to the Philippine market. In 2024, the Company strives to consume 1,500,000 tons of cement.
On this occasion, the leaders of VICEM Tam Diep proposed that the province, departments, branches, and Tam Diep city pay attention to supporting the Company's cement products to participate in construction projects of the province and locality to increase product consumption; support the Company to hand over to the province houses and land that have not been used for many years.
After listening to the reports and recommendations of the enterprises, Mr. Tong Quang Thin, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, shared the difficulties that the Company has encountered in recent years, and at the same time suggested some directions and solutions for the Company and affirmed that the province always accompanies and creates the best conditions for enterprises in the area to develop. He hoped that the enterprises would coordinate more closely with the business community, departments, branches and sectors in the province to exchange information and promptly resolve difficulties and problems for mutual development.
On the occasion of visiting and encouraging the staff and workers of VICEM Tam Diep Cement Company Limited, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Company to stabilize production and business, take good care of the lives and income of workers, and coordinate with local authorities to ensure security, order and social security in the area.
Sharing joy with the Company when there have been positive signals from the first months of 2024 and hoping that VICEM Tam Diep will continue to promote tradition, focus on leadership and direction to have suitable and feasible solutions to further develop the Company in 2024 and the following years.
Regarding the Company's proposals, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assigned the leaders of Tam Diep City and relevant departments and branches to actively study, advise, support and accompany the Company to overcome difficulties and promote production and business. Inspecting the spring launch of the East-West Road Construction Project in Ninh Binh Province (Phase I) in Nho Quan District. The project has a total length of about 23km from Tam Diep City to Nho Quan District, of which the section through Nho Quan District is about 16.32km long; the land area affected by the project in the area is more than 121 hectares in 5 communes: Van Phong, Van Phuong, Cuc Phuong, Ky Phu, Phu Long; the number of affected households is 812; the number of households in need of resettlement is 131.
Currently, the entire route has been cleared and 22.6/22.9km has been handed over. 7km of road surface has been paved and bridges and culverts of all kinds have been constructed. The value of completed construction volume is estimated at 38%.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the determination and great efforts of the investor, construction contractor, supervision consultant, the close coordination of related localities, especially the consensus of the people in carrying out site clearance, speeding up the project implementation progress.
Emphasizing that the East-West route is a key project, creating space, momentum, and a breakthrough in the province's socio-economic development in the short term and with a long-term strategic vision, he requested the investor to direct contractors to focus on human resources and machinery, speed up construction progress according to the motto of handing over the site to where construction will take place. During the construction process, factors of labor safety, quality, technical and aesthetic aspects of the project must be ensured, and the project must be completed ahead of schedule and put into operation and use soon.
Localities need to step up propaganda about the significance of the project, create consensus among the people, quickly hand over the clean site to the contractor, ensuring the proposed progress. At the same time, quickly complete resettlement areas to soon stabilize the lives of households affected by the project.
Visiting the tea bag production model of Alphaco Company Limited in Thach Binh Commune, Nho Quan District, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mai Van Tuat highly appreciated the creative and bold spirit in starting a business of the business owner and his colleagues. After nearly a year of operation, the facility has produced 50,000 products, of which 2 products have been recognized as 3-star OCOP.
Currently, the facility is providing jobs for 15 local workers with a salary of 6-9 million VND/person/month. Assessing this as a good model with potential for development and replication in the coming time, especially in mountainous areas with a large number of ethnic minorities, he also suggested that the facility should develop a strategy to expand production and business, strengthen coordination with functional sectors and localities to complete administrative procedures in accordance with regulations, and be facilitated in accessing capital and land to plan planting areas and expand production workshops in a professional and modern direction.
