Implementing the Central Committee's regulations on superior Party committees attending Party activities at grassroots Party cells, on October 3, comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended the regular October meeting of the Party cell of Da Trang village, Thong Nhat commune, Ha Long city.
With 17 party members, the Da Trang village party cell always affirms and promotes its role as a political nucleus, a bridge between the Party and the people, leading and directing cadres, party members and people in the neighborhood to successfully complete all tasks set by the Party Committee, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party at the grassroots level, consolidating the people's trust in the Party and the government. The party members always uphold the pioneering and exemplary spirit, clearly demonstrating their core role in carrying out local tasks.
After informing about the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council passed at the 21st session; the results of the implementation of the tasks of the third quarter and some key tasks of the fourth quarter of the city and the commune; the Party members focused on evaluating the situation of the work activities in September. Accordingly, the Party Cell has well led and directed the Party building work, including completing the admission of 1 Party member; conducting 1 inspection, 1 supervision; organizing 2 thematic activities; preparing for the election of village chiefs and the Party Cell Congress. Along with that, the Party Cell directed the maintenance of good campaigns and emulation movements in the area; focused on propagating and mobilizing people to participate in planting large timber forests, handing over land to implement key projects in the area; doing a good job of ensuring security, social order and safety. Especially in the face of the severe damage caused by storm No. 3 and the historic flood to people's lives and agricultural and forestry production activities in the village, the Party Committee and Party members of the Party cell actively participated in helping people evacuate from dangerous areas, clean up houses, and overcome damage; promptly reported to the province and city to provide timely support to families whose houses had their roofs blown off or collapsed, and families in difficult circumstances...
Through discussion, party members highly appreciated the fact that the comrades of the upper-level Party Committee attended the grassroots Party cell meetings, promptly listened to the people's opinions; at the same time, grasped the issues of concern to the people in the most specific and in-depth way. The opinions also highly appreciated the leadership, direction and management of the province and city, especially after the recent storm No. 3, which received the attention and support of the Central Government, the province and the city. From there, it created motivation for people to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
Attending the regular meeting of the Party Cell of Da Trang village, Thong Nhat commune, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his excitement at the achievements of the Party Cell and the village over the past years. Despite being located in a special area, mainly inhabited by ethnic minorities, since 2022, the entire village has had no poor or near-poor households. Emulation movements and campaigns have been actively implemented, bringing high efficiency. Security and order in the area are ensured, with no hot spots.
Sharing the heavy losses caused by storm No. 3, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the work of supporting and overcoming the consequences of storms and floods in the village, which was strongly directed by the city, actively implemented by the commune, and the Party cell also promptly intervened to support the people. Thanks to that, the safety of people in the area was ensured.
Regarding the tasks in the coming time, he hopes that the Party cell will continue to promote the achieved results, propagate and mobilize all classes of people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the development orientations of the province. Continue to do well the work of creating sources and developing new Party members; improve the quality of Party cell activities; direct the good implementation of the task of electing village chiefs towards the Party cell congress for the term 2025-2027. Do well the work of ensuring security and order, striving to build a drug-free village.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested the Party cell to lead and direct the focus on supporting households in the village to continue to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3; clean up and restore the damaged crop areas due to flooding; research to change the crop structure in the forest areas that were broken due to storms; review households at risk of falling back into poverty or near-poverty. Ha Long City directed to immediately implement existing mechanisms and policies of the Central Government, mechanisms and policies approved by the Provincial People's Council to promptly support people affected by storms. Faced with the situation of Da Trang village being flooded many times, Thong Nhat commune must also study and propose to the city to build a suitable water canal system.
