The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee congratulated the Provincial Women's Union on International Women's Day March 8

On the morning of March 6, on the occasion of the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8) and the 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, came to congratulate the officials and members of the Provincial Women's Union. Accompanying him were comrade Do Viet Anh, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; and leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office.

Speaking to congratulate all cadres and members of the Provincial Women's Union and women in the whole province on the occasion of International Women's Day, March 8, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee commended, acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Women's Union at all levels in the past time. In particular, he commended the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, innovation, overcoming difficulties, focusing on leadership, direction, focusing on the grassroots, performing well all aspects of the Union's work, successfully building many models and typical examples in various fields that go into depth and have a widespread effect. The results and achievements have continued to affirm the role and position of the Provincial Women's Union in the political system and in society; contributing to the successful implementation of the province's political tasks with all levels and sectors.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that in the coming time, the Women's Union at all levels in the province will continue to do a good job of advising the Party Committees and authorities to have comprehensive leadership and direction for the activities of the Union. He noted that in order to prepare for the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 23rd Provincial Party Congress, the Women's Union at all levels in the province should pay attention to the work of creating resources, proposing, and perfecting to ensure the proportion of female cadres participating in Party Committees, management leaders, and key cadres at all levels in accordance with regulations.

Along with that, continue to coordinate well with departments, branches, sectors, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, districts and cities to create consensus in directing the implementation of the tasks of the Association, striving to soon complete the targets and tasks set by the Women's Congresses at all levels for the entire term 2021-2026. Continue to propagate cadres, members and women in the whole province to actively participate in economic development, new rural construction, tourism development. Promote the implementation of emulation movements at all levels of the Association, activities to celebrate important holidays and historical and political events of the province and the country in 2024. Pay attention, care for, innovate and improve the quality of activities of the Association at all levels, attract and gather members to actively participate in the Association's activities and women's movements.
