Nam Ly High School and Phu Pha Phang High School are two projects built with funding support from Dien Bien province. These projects were handed over and put into use to help Phongsaly province have more spacious and clean facilities, creating favorable conditions for teaching and learning for students in the area, demonstrating the special friendship and traditional cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general; Dien Bien and Phongsaly provinces in particular, contributing to educating the younger generation to continue to foster and build the good traditional relationship between the two countries and the two provinces.
Visiting Nam Ly High School and Phu Pha Phang High School, Comrade Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, warmly greeted teachers and students; at the same time, expressed his belief that under the friendly roof of the school, teachers will nurture more talents for Phongsaly province and Laos, actively contributing to the cause of building the Lao People's Democratic Republic "Peace - Independence - Democracy - Unity - Prosperity".
It is known that, implementing the memorandums of understanding signed between the two provinces, from 2010 to 2023, Dien Bien province has provided funding to Phongsaly province from the local budget with a total cost of 55 billion VND to invest in the construction of certain projects, serving the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security of Phongsaly province.
Previously, Comrade Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers on duty at Pang Hoc International Border Gate (Lao PDR).
