As a result, comrade Le Van Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Nam province was elected Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province for the 2021-2026 term, with 50/50 votes, reaching 100%.
Comrade Le Van Dung (born in 1966, hometown Que Binh commune, Hiep Duc district, Quang Nam) has a professional qualification of University of Agricultural Economics, Bachelor of Politics; officially joined the Party on October 27, 1987.

Before assuming the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, comrade Le Van Dung held the following positions: Secretary of the District Youth Union, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Head of the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Hiep Duc district, Chief of the Office of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Organization Department of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee.

Also at this session, delegates voted to elect two additional Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
The result was 50/50 delegates elected comrade Phan Thai Binh (born in 1974, hometown in Que Xuan 2 commune, Que Son district, Quang Nam), member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee and comrade Tran Nam Hung (born in 1973, hometown in Dien Tien commune, Dien Ban town, Quang Nam), member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Tam Ky City Party Committee to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, term 2021-2026.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Van Dung expressed his gratitude to key officials at all levels, sectors, districts, towns and cities in the province; the Provincial Party Standing Committee and members of the Provincial Party Committee for their trust in recommending and electing him to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
