Standing Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen inspected the Project to overcome landslides and natural disaster consequences on Provincial Road 1 through Quang Tam Commune; the Project to plan, arrange and stabilize the population under the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas; and the R'tan Lake Project.

Tuy Duc District People's Committee reported on the implementation process, scale, progress of projects; disbursement rate and expected completion time.

Specifically, the project to overcome landslides and natural disaster consequences on Provincial Road 1 through Quang Tam Commune has a total investment of 90 billion VND. The length of the road is more than 4.3km.

The project will be implemented from August 2024 and is expected to be completed in June 2025. Currently, the project has completed 60% of the contract volume and achieved a disbursement rate of 100%, equivalent to 90 billion VND.

The project to overcome landslides and natural disaster consequences on Provincial Road 1 through Quang Tam Commune, Tuy Duc District (Dak Nong) has reached 60% of the construction volume.

Dak R'tan Lake project has a capacity of 2,803 million m3 of water, with a total investment of 110 billion VND. The project started construction at the end of 2023. The project's construction volume has only reached about 20%, the disbursement rate has reached 60.36% (66.4/110 billion VND).

The population stabilization project under the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas implements many component projects.

Of which, the project to upgrade 15.48km of rural roads; the project to build new Son Ca Kindergarten and Ngo Quyen Secondary School has a total investment of 88.4 billion VND.

Up to now, the progress of these two projects has reached 70% of the volume, the disbursement rate has reached 75.5% (66.83/88.4 billion VND). The district commits to completing 100% of the volume according to the contract before August 30, 2025.

Construction of Dak R'tan Lake Project, reservoir capacity of 2,803 million m3 of water

For the project to stabilize the population of ethnic minorities in extremely difficult areas in Quang Tam commune, including upgrading 4.6km of rural roads; building 2 schools, building a cultural house of Quang Tam commune; building a flower garden, with a total investment of 64 billion VND.

The project will start construction in August 2024 and is expected to be completed in December 2025. The project has completed 60% of the volume and disbursed 35.1 billion VND, reaching 55%. The district is committed to completing the project in August 2025.

Tuy Duc District People's Committee has raised difficulties in the implementation of projects. In particular, Dak R'tan Lake Project, due to the adjustment of the land acquisition area from 30ha to 71ha, will not be 100% completed until October 2024. Therefore, the project cannot be completed in 2025. The district commits that by the end of 2025, the project will complete 66% of the contracted volume.

For contractors, it is necessary to take advantage of the dry season to increase manpower and machinery to speed up progress, ensuring progress and quality of the project as committed.
