On December 14, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province held a conference to announce the Binh Phuoc Provincial Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050. Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha attended and directed the conference.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc presented the decision and flowers to congratulate the leaders of Binh Phuoc province.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien said that the Planning of Binh Phuoc province for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, sets the general goal that by 2030, Binh Phuoc will become an industrial province in the direction of modernity, efficiency and sustainability, an "attractive destination" of the Southeast region, with a fairly large economic scale based on the synchronous construction of technical infrastructure, social infrastructure, and development of industry clusters with the potential to create many jobs and budget revenue.

Comrade Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee attended the conference.

The plan aims to improve the quality of life for people, narrow the gap between rural areas, ethnic minority areas, remote areas, border areas and urban areas. At the same time, strengthen regional connectivity through the development of key infrastructure systems; complete e-government, gradually transition to digital government; ensure solid national defense and security; build a clean, strong and comprehensive Party organization and political system.

With this planning, Binh Phuoc province is ready for a new, sustainable development phase with many goals and aspirations, turning potential into development driving force, building Binh Phuoc into a modern, prosperous, civilized industrial province.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha delivered a speech at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha affirmed that Binh Phuoc has a strategic geographical position of “the knee of Truong Son”, “shoulder to shoulder with the border” of Cambodia, playing an important role in the new economic corridor, connecting economy and culture, being the gateway for economic, cultural and social exchange between the Southeast region and the Central Highlands, the Mekong sub-region and ASEAN.

Binh Phuoc is identified as the direction to expand the industrial development space of the region; develop border gate economy, logistics; play an important role in protecting water resources, forest ecosystems and biodiversity. Binh Phuoc province planning is a step to concretize the resolution of the Politburo; with a strategic vision, organizing development space based on resource potential, strategic position, cultural values, and people. In particular, the inter-regional and trans-Asian infrastructure system will connect the economic space of Ho Chi Minh City - Binh Duong - Binh Phuoc; the economic corridor of the Central Highlands - Southeast - Mekong Sub-region.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the legal basis is available, the potential has been identified, the development orientation has been determined, the solutions are clear, the remaining issues are decisive, which are the innovative thinking, the dynamic and creative spirit of the Party Committee and the government; the consensus and response of the business community and people in organizing the implementation of the planning to realize the province's aspirations...

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project, section passing through Binh Phuoc province.

On the same day, Binh Phuoc province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot – Chon Thanh expressway through Binh Phuoc province and the construction of phase 2 of Becamex Binh Phuoc Industrial Park.
