On the afternoon of November 2, Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with Mr. Nakajima Takeo, Chief Representative of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and Mr. Kinoshita Tadahiro, Chairman of the Japan Business Association in Vietnam (JJCI) and his colleagues.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc expressed his joy at welcoming the Heads of the Japanese organizations JETRO and JJCI in Vietnam. He said that recently, after the meeting with the Ambassador and Deputy Ambassador of Japan in Vietnam, Ninh Binh province received great support and sharing and affirmed that the Embassy will be a bridge to support the province in promoting and cooperating with Japanese investment partners.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee briefly informed about the geographical location, history, culture, potential and strengths of the locality and emphasized: In its development orientation and strategy, Ninh Binh always determines to take the culture and heritage values ​​of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex as the foundation and driving force for green and sustainable development.

Therefore, one of the contents that Ninh Binh wishes to cooperate in investment is to preserve and promote the historical and cultural values ​​of the ancient capital of Ninh Binh. The focus is to attract archaeological projects, preserve and restore the ancient capital of Hoa Lu.

In addition, with its position as a leading tourism center in Vietnam and of international stature, the province is also prioritizing and attracting investors in the service and tourism sectors. With two famous mineral water sources, Kenh Ga and Cuc Phuong, the province wishes to build a high-quality resort complex, an attractive destination for tourists.

With the philosophy of development associated with nature and heritage conservation, the province focuses on attracting investors who apply high technology, are environmentally friendly, and handle waste well.

Currently, the province has attracted, promoted development and is one of the three largest automobile production and assembly centers in Vietnam. This has affirmed the right direction, balanced, harmonious and sustainable development of the province during the past period.

The province is currently preparing to build two new industrial parks with an area of ​​about 1,000 hectares, facilitating trade with other provinces. Therefore, the province hopes that Japanese partners and investors will explore investment opportunities here in the direction of green and sustainable technology. Ninh Binh will create the most favorable conditions for investors to invest effectively.

He also expressed concern that information about Ninh Binh to Japanese investors has not been updated accurately and promptly, so Japanese investors are still quite modest. Therefore, he hopes that through this working session, it will be an opportunity for the province to promote information and communication about its potential and strengths to Japanese investors.

On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc also sent an invitation to the Heads of organizations to visit and work in Ninh Binh in the coming time to survey and learn about promotion and investment opportunities.

Based on the information provided by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, at the meeting, Mr. Nakajima Takeo, Chief Representative of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and Mr. Kinoshita Tadahiro, Chairman of the Japan Business Association in Vietnam (JJCI) expressed their deep impression of Ninh Binh. At the same time, they said that these are important bases for JETRO and JJCI to inform Japanese investors who are looking forward to investing in Vietnam in general and Ninh Binh in particular.

Representatives of the organizations also affirmed that Ninh Binh province has all the factors to attract strategic investors to serve the goal of green and sustainable development. Especially with the similarity in the goal of economic development associated with preserving and promoting cultural values, Ninh Binh and Japanese enterprises will open up effective cooperation opportunities in the coming time.
