On December 18, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, received Ms. Somhatai Panichewa, CEO of Amata Vietnam, who was visiting and working in Quang Ninh.
Ms. Somhatai Panichewa, CEO of Amata Vietnam, thanked Quang Ninh province for creating favorable conditions and supporting the Group in the process of implementing the Amata Song Khoai Industrial Park project in Quang Yen town. In order to continue to accelerate the project as well as improve the efficiency of investment attraction activities, the CEO of Amata Vietnam requested the province to continue to accompany and support the acceleration of site clearance for the remaining area. At the same time, research and arrange land mines for leveling at appropriate distances to help investors reduce infrastructure investment costs; allowing investors to research and implement renewable energy projects to serve factories in the industrial park.
Speaking at the reception, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, highly appreciated the investor's efforts in investing in completing the infrastructure of Amata Song Khoai Industrial Park and the results of attracting secondary investment projects.
Regarding some proposed contents, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the province has directed Quang Yen town to speed up the progress of site clearance to hand over to investors, ensuring synchronous investment in infrastructure systems. At the same time, land funds are prepared to attract new, large-scale investment projects. Regarding the arrangement of land mines for site leveling, the province will also direct relevant departments and branches to review and arrange suitable land mines. The Provincial Party Secretary also added that Quang Ninh is a key area for tourism development, so the planning and licensing of land mines must be carefully studied to ensure that they do not affect the landscape and ecological environment in the area. Regarding the proposal to implement renewable energy projects, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the province is also building a roadmap for overall implementation. At the same time, it will direct relevant departments and branches to create conditions for investors to research and implement investment projects in this field.
The Provincial Party Secretary also requested Amata Group to have a plan to allocate financial resources to serve the work of compensation and site clearance for the remaining area of the Amata Song Khoai Industrial Park project. At the same time, there should be a roadmap for investment in completing infrastructure in the industrial park, especially for the route from Ben Rung bridge intersection to the riverside road project from Provincial Road 338 to Dong Trieu City (phase 1) which has been assigned to Amata for investment, ensuring synchronous completion with the investment routes using budget capital. Continue to increase the attraction of secondary investment projects within the general direction of the province in the fields of processing, manufacturing, and semiconductor industries, contributing to the gradual formation of production chains with high added value. In the process of implementing projects, Amata Group needs to closely coordinate with the Management Board of the Economic Zone, Quang Yen Town to promptly remove related difficulties and obstacles.
