Comrade Nguyen Van Phu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and leaders of the Provincial Military Command, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and several localities also attended.
The delegation visited four outstanding people: Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Buoi; war invalid Vu Van Luan and Mr. Nguyen Huy Phong, a resistance activist who was exposed to toxic chemicals, both in Minh Tan commune (Nam Sach); Mr. Le Xuan Tho in Tran Hung Dao ward (Hai Duong city), a revolutionary activist, resistance fighter, national defender, and international duty performer who was imprisoned by the enemy.
Recalling the arduous yet heroic memories of the resistance war, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang expressed his gratitude and respect for the contributions and sacrifices of those who contributed to the revolution for the country's peace and independence.
On behalf of the leaders of Hai Duong province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang wished the heroic Vietnamese mothers, war invalids, resistance fighters and their families good health and continued contributions to the development of their homeland and the province.
Comrade Tran Duc Thang affirmed that the Party Committee, government, people and the entire political system of Hai Duong province always remember the merits of previous generations, and are constantly determined to carry out goals and tasks to inherit, promote and develop Hai Duong province further.
In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited and presented gifts to staff, doctors and patients at Military Hospital 7. Talking with the leaders of Military Hospital 7, comrade Tran Duc Thang acknowledged the important achievements and contributions of the hospital. He suggested that the hospital closely coordinate with other hospitals and functional agencies of the province to further improve the quality of health care for the people. Hai Duong province always creates conditions for Military Hospital 7 to develop further.
The outstanding contributors and leaders of Military Hospital 7 all expressed their joy, excitement and emotion when the Provincial Party Secretary and the delegation visited and presented gifts. At the same time, they expressed their trust and wished the provincial leaders to perform their duties well and make important contributions to the development of Hai Duong.
