Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ha Thi Nga and representatives of meritorious people of Tuyen Quang province attended the meeting with outstanding meritorious people in the Northern region.

Attending the meeting were leaders and former leaders of the Party and State; representatives of departments, ministries, branches and localities; veteran revolutionary cadres, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, meritorious people and typical policy families in 28 provinces and cities from Ha Tinh and beyond.

Delegates from Tuyen Quang province attending the conference included comrade Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

Tuyen Quang province was honored to have 4 delegates with revolutionary contributions attending the conference, including: Veteran Nguyen Duc Manh, Yen Son town, Yen Son district; former youth volunteer Pham Van Thanh, Phan Thiet ward, Tuyen Quang city; Former People's Police officer Nguyen Van Dieu, Tan Quang ward, Tuyen Quang city; War invalid Ninh Van Thuy, Nong Tien ward, Tuyen Quang city.

At the meeting, delegates together reviewed the heroic memories of the nation, shared their heartfelt opinions, and expressed their responsibility for the cause of protecting and developing the country in the new situation.

Speaking at the meeting, General Secretary To Lam expressed his gratitude for the great contributions of the people and the people's armed forces to the Party's revolutionary cause in the cause of completely liberating the South, reunifying the country as well as in the cause of building, constructing and defending the Fatherland.

General Secretary To Lam informed about the main features of the current situation of the country as well as the policies and strategic orientations that the Party has outlined in the new era. Accordingly, the Central Committee identified three key tasks that need to be focused on from now until 2030, the 100th anniversary of our country under the leadership of the Party in 2045, and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the country.

That is: Preserving and maintaining a peaceful, secure and orderly environment for national development. Developing the economy and society rapidly and sustainably. Improving the lives of the people, especially the workers.

General Secretary To Lam emphasized that the 11th Central Conference, which has just ended, is considered a historic conference in the revolutionary journey of our country. The Central Executive Committee highly agreed on the contents related to the arrangement of the political system's apparatus; the arrangement of administrative units and the organization of 2-level local governments with a long-term vision, at least 100 years, ensuring the formation and expansion of new economic, social and cultural development space suitable for the country's development and integration, strengthening the potential of national defense, security and foreign affairs.

The General Secretary also emphasized the task of continuing to innovate the Party's leadership methods, especially innovating the way of issuing and organizing the implementation of resolutions in a concise, easy-to-understand, easy-to-remember, easy-to-implement manner; correctly identifying the requirements, tasks, and development path of the country, each locality, ministry, and sector.

Strongly reform processes and policies to meet development requirements; promote decentralization and delegation of power, ensuring that the Central Government strengthens macro-management, plays a constructive and developmental role, and gives more autonomy and initiative to all levels of government.
