Son La City Party Secretary inspects progress of demolition of temporary and dilapidated houses

The Secretary of the City Party Committee presented gifts to people with meritorious services who received support to remove temporary and dilapidated houses in Chieng Den commune.

According to the plan in this phase, Chieng Den commune strives to eliminate 15 temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households. Up to now, the commune has completed 11 houses, and 4 are under construction. The commune is focusing on mobilizing people in the village to support households to complete them before May 19. Meanwhile, in Chieng Co commune, there are 12 temporary and dilapidated houses. Up to now, 6 have been completed and put into use, and 6 are basically finished and in the process of being completed. It is expected that by April 30, the commune will complete the elimination of temporary houses.

The Secretary of the City Party Committee visited and encouraged the families who received support to remove temporary houses this time, hoping that the households would feel secure in working and producing, developing the economy, and escaping poverty sustainably. He asked the communes to mobilize all resources to speed up the progress, ensuring the plan is completed before May 19, 2025.
