According to the customs of the Xo Dang people, the mountain god worship ceremony usually takes place at the end of the year so that the god can bless the villagers with a prosperous life in the new year. And the mountain god will transfer to other gods such as the water god at the beginning of the year to continue blessing the villagers according to their wishes.
Also on this occasion, Tra Nam commune organized folk games, culinary competitions, pole-raising... attracting a large number of people to participate.
