This is one of 16 new soldier training units of Military Region 5 participating in the 2025 competition.
The examination team of the Logistics and Engineering Department of Military Region 5 disseminated and thoroughly grasped the content, program and assessed the following contents: Leadership, direction, propaganda,education on increased production, ensuring the reception and training of new soldiers; regular system of books, boards, and signs; production garden system; assessing a meal associated with the results of increased production harvest and implementing some main contents in the regular construction of canteens and kitchens.

According to the evaluation of the Jury, the representative unit of the Phu Yen Provincial Military Command has proactively prepared well the content and criteria according to the regulations of the Organizing Committee of the contest.
The production garden system is located in the overall planning of the unit's barracks; the area is suitable and built basically and sustainably; the types of vegetables (water spinach, mustard greens, sweet potato leaves, and all kinds of trellises) are suitable for the soil and climate conditions; the types of tubers and fruits grow well; the electricity system is guaranteed; the irrigation system is automatic, drip irrigation saves water, and ensures safety.

Regarding the practice of preparing a meal for the soldiers, the jury assessed that the unit introduced many sources of increased food such as vegetables, tubers, fruits, chicken, duck into the menu, improving the meals for the soldiers; arranging and placing food on the table correctly, sufficiently, evenly according to standards, quantitatively, scientifically , and beautifully. The arrangement and arrangement of areas in the dining room and kitchen were clean, airy, cool, reasonable, and environmentally friendly.

The contest aims to encourage increased production, providing fresh, diverse and safe food sources for soldiers; at the same time, improving material and spiritual life, creating a green, clean, beautiful and disciplined cultural environment, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive "exemplary and typical" unit, enthusiastically competing to complete all assigned tasks.
As planned, the contest will end, announce the results and award the winning units on April 15.
