On December 7, Traffic Police Team No. 2 of the Traffic Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police, said that they had just coordinated with a family to successfully rescue a young woman who had been lured by someone else on social networks.

Previously, at around 6:30 p.m. last night (December 6), Traffic Police Team No. 2 received a report from a family in Thach Giam town (Tuong Duong district) about a young woman being lured by a stranger on social media to leave home to work in Hai Phong .

Suspecting this was a case of fraud and human trafficking, the family quickly reported it to the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, Traffic Police Team No. 2 quickly began investigating.

At 9:00 p.m. the same day, at km28 of National Highway 7, the Traffic Police intercepted and inspected a passenger bus with license plate 15B-038.xx driven by Mr. Tran Quang Tr. (born in 1978, residing in Thai Binh ).

Upon checking, the police discovered that in the car was a young girl named VMT (14 years old, residing in Tuong Duong district) who had run away from home as reported by her family.

The traffic police officer then discussed and explained to T. about the tricks and harmful effects of human trafficking. T. was clearly aware of the problem and was taken home safely by her family.
