Orders drop sharply, businesses still spend tens of billions on September 2nd bonuses

Despite facing many difficulties due to the economic crisis and a sharp decrease in orders, many large enterprises in Dong Nai province still implement the policy of giving bonuses and gifts to employees on the occasion of September 2nd.

The Trade Union of Changshin VN Co., Ltd. (Thanh Phu Commune, Vinh Cuu District) said that on the occasion of September 2, the Company will reward each worker with 200,000 VND. With 40,000 workers currently working, the total bonus amount is 8 billion VND.

Meanwhile, 32,000 workers of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Bien Hoa City), each worker was awarded 1 day's salary, an average of 300,000 to 500,000 VND/person. The total holiday bonus is more than 10 billion VND.

In addition to rewarding workers, on the occasion of the September 2nd holiday this year, the company and the union agreed to give workers a long holiday, from August 31st to September 5th, so that workers have time to rest with their families and take their children to school on the first day of school, opening the new school year.

In September, the grassroots union continued to award scholarships to workers' children on the occasion of the children entering the new school year 2023-2024.

Pouchen Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Hoa An Ward, Bien Hoa City) gave workers a 3-day holiday (from September 1 to 3). Mr. Nguyen Tan Phat, Chairman of Pouchen Company's Trade Union, said that despite the difficult situation, the company has been trying to find orders to maintain production and not let workers lose their jobs.

The company currently has about 16,000 workers, each of whom received a bonus of 100,000 VND along with necessities for the September 2nd holiday.
