Vietlott's semi-annual financial report shows that revenue in the first 6 months of this year reached more than 3,250 billion VND, an increase of 33% over the same period last year. This figure is a record for first half revenue since its establishment.

In business operations, Vietlott's revenue comes not only from lottery ticket sales but also from bank interest. In the first 6 months of 2024, this amount reached nearly 27 billion VND.

Cost of goods sold also increased to more than VND 2,704 billion. The majority was bonus expenses, recorded at about VND 2,248.5 billion, about VND 559 billion more than the same period.

As a result, in the first 6 months of this year, Vietlott achieved nearly 212 billion VND in pre-tax profit. After deducting taxes and fees, Vietlott's after-tax profit was nearly 169.5 billion VND, an increase of 15.6% compared to the first half of 2023. This is Vietlott's highest semi-annual profit in the past 6 years.

According to the Ministry of Finance, revenue from lottery activities is estimated at 32,700 billion VND in the first 7 months of the year, equal to 76.1% of the estimate and up 14.1% over the same period.
